Spiritually Grounding Yourself

Life is not easy, and we often have to get our energies in check and make sure that we are in control of your body and our emotions. We need to align ourselves and make sure that we are thinking positively.

If you want to align yourself, you have to figure out how to keep your energy grounded. When you are grounded, you are balanced, and you are strong.

Most people have heard about grounding themselves but not everyone knows what this means. This means that you are raising your vibrational frequency and that you are being present in what is going on in your life. You are raising your energies.

Breathing

One way to ground yourself is to deep breathe. You can take a deep breath through your nostrils and then let your lungs fill completely up and then let the air out of your mouth.

When you do this, it will take away your stress and anxiety and will help you to get out toxins of your body.

This can also help you with your chakras and balancing your chakras when they become blocked. Imagine that the air is filling that chakra and when you release it, negativity is leaving too.

If you are stressed out, make sure you ground yourself often. You can also practice Pranayama exercises and different poses that is about breathing and being strong in your body and mind.

Nature Time

Take time to spend time in nature. Go out and read under a tree or hug a tree. This can ground your energies.

Trees are living and they are part of Mother Earth. Since we are all full of energies, even hugging a tree makes it where you can connect with nature. Imagine that you are exchanging energy with mother earth and that you are sending love and being thankful for what you have.

Imagine that when you breathe that you are helping trees by releasing carbon dioxide and letting oxygen go into you.

You can also lay in the grass, go barefoot in the garden, swim or do whatever you can where your body is touching nature.

Meditation

Meditation is one of the best ways to ground yourself. Try to do this for about 30 minutes each day. You need to make sure you are in a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted and where you can relax.

Close your eyes, deep breathe, and clear your mind. Imagine that you are completely relaxed and think of beautiful things such as waterfalls and forests.

Imagine a golden light filling your body from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. This will anchor you through your root chakra. This energy will seep into your being and will make it where you are grounded to the earth.

Feel yourself opening up and getting lighter. Imagine yourself standing and once you feel grounded, open your eyes, and see if you feel better.

Dancing and Singing

If you want to have fun while grounding yourself, try to sing and dance. This is creative energy and will fill your being.

Singing will help you to get rid of negative energies and even if you don’t sing, just hum. Sing when you are getting dressed or when you shower. Sing something that makes you feel good.

Dancing will release physical energy and it will help you to feel better in your mind, body, emotions and more. Release the energy from your solar plexus and your heart chakra.

Connect to the music with your body and do this when you need to be grounded.

You can also do yoga exercises to keep your mind and your spirit grounded.

Balance Your Chakras

Make sure that all of your chakras are working properly. You can do this by meditating, using crystals and affirmations. Do whatever it takes to be grounded and to feel better.
